Adam Telerman, M.D., Ph.D.
Director of Cancer Research

Dr. Adam Telerman is a co-founder of the company, and directs the Scientific program at Molecular Engines Laboratories.
Dr. Telerman obtained his M.D. from the University of Brussels (Université Libre de Bruxelles). He received further training at the Harvard Medical School and joined the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a Fulbright Fellow. Following training in internal medicine, hematology and oncology, Dr. Telerman spent two years as a long-term European Biology Organization fellow at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel. In 1989, Dr. Telerman obtained a professorship at the University of Brussels, where he established a molecular oncology laboratory.
Prior to the creation of Molecular Engines Laboratories, Dr. Telerman co-directed the Cancer Genetics Program at the Fondation Jean Dausset, CEPH together with Dr. Robert Amson.

Robert Amson, M.D.
Director of Cancer Research

Dr. Robert Amson, a company co-founder, is director of Cancer Research at Molecular Engines Laboratories. He obtained his M.D. at the University of Brussels and received further training at the Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Amson was granted a long-term EMBO fellowship at the Weizmann Institute of Science, where he characterized genes involved in chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). He has collaborated with Dr. Telerman since the early 1980’s, particularily in the field of tumor suppression.
